2020 Legislative Preview for the Reproductive Freedom Network of Kentucky
In January 2020, representatives from The Abortion Monologues joined the ACLU, Representative Attica Scott, and other allies to discuss reproductive issues in the upcoming legislative session.
Restitching the Seams: Appalachia Beyond Its Borders
Coordinators Stacie Sexton, Kacy Johnson, and David Austin led a workshop on examining the process of building community around this project with special emphasis on stories from rural Kentucky and barriers to participation. They examined reproductive justice as a framework for storytelling, explored foundational pathways in grassroots theater, and exchanged ideas for organizing around abortion in greater Appalachia.
